Some of you may already know this about me… I dabble in bad poetry. Here’s one that I put together for a new friend of mine.
A New Friend
You took a chance
Put Judgment aside
You made a stance
A reason to hide
~
I tell you my story
The good and the bad
You listen and worry
The troubles I’ve had
~
A change of heart
And the truth you sought
A willingness to start
With no lies to be bought
~
A new friend I have
You don’t know how much
A new friend you have
My life has been touched
