Some of you may already know this about me… I dabble in bad poetry. Here’s one that I put together for a new friend of mine.

A New Friend

You took a chance

Put Judgment aside

You made a stance

A reason to hide

~

I tell you my story

The good and the bad

You listen and worry

The troubles I’ve had

~

A change of heart

And the truth you sought

A willingness to start

With no lies to be bought

~

A new friend I have

You don’t know how much

A new friend you have

My life has been touched

Friends and Good Food

We had a great 4th of July thanks to the hospitality of Darren and Rese, good friends from a small town next to Nashville, TN. Here are some photos from the weekend.

We had dinner Friday night at Sperry’s.

Friends and Family

My brother and his wife had their baby this last Saturday. A beautiful baby boy. They’ve been together for about 15 years or so as far as I can guestimate right now. Proof that some people are smart and work as a team to create beautiful things on this earth. However, the work has just begun for them! Enjoy these pictures and good luck guys, I know you’ll both be great parents:
